Further information about resources for students with disabilities and accessible student services

  • Student Disability Center: Provides coordination of specialized academic support services and promotes independence and integrated participation in campus life for students with disabilities.
  • Student Academic Success Center (SASC): A multi-program Student Affairs department providing essential services, programs, and information for UC Davis students.
  • Housing Accommodations: UC Davis Student Housing attempts to honor all requests for special accommodations through our Special Accommodation process. There are five types of Special Accommodations: Physical/Mobility Related, Service Animal, Dietary Needs, Emotional Support Animal, and Other (health, medical, emotional related, etc.).
  • Student Health and Counseling Services: The mission of Student Health and Counseling Services is to enhance the physical and mental health of students in order to help them achieve academic success, personal development and lifelong wellness by providing an integrated program of quality, accessible, cost sensitive and confidential healthcare services.
  • The Center for Accessible Technologies (CAT): houses electronic resources (including hardware and software) for faculty, students, and staff with disabilities in a centralized location at Shields Library. 
  • Mobility Assistance Shuttle: provides shuttle service to current UC Davis students, faculty, and staff with documented disabilities (temporary or permanent).

Students who have questions, concerns, or complaints related to suspected discrimination on the basis of disability or failure to accommodate are encouraged to contact the SDC.  Students may also consult with Student Judicial Affairs, the Office of Graduate Studies, or the ADA Compliance Officer about their concerns or to obtain information about filing a formal complaint.
